   Paul Bertan, Candidate for Congress in the 25th  District today announced that he will pledge his

congressional retirement funds, if elected, to scholarships at Onondaga Community College.

    

    These outright gifts will be in addition to the $100,000 each that he has already given to the State

University Units at Onondaga, Albany,and Binghamton in gift annuity scholarships and a life

insurance policy given to OCC.

   "These gifts will be a way of giving back to the community that I love", said Bertan

These donations to scholarships are very important to offset the high costs of college tuitions and

expenses which are going up even faster now and with the coming inflation caused by very poor

government spending and stimulation policies, concluded Bertan.
